KLM vervoercijfers september 2016
Passagiersvervoer groeit verder, vrachtvervoer daalt
Naast de voortdurende aandacht voor cao's en pensioenen zijn de resultaten van de inzet van KLM-ers weer terug te zien in wederom sterke vervoerscijfers in september voor de KLM Groep. Ondertussen wordt op alle plekken in ons bedrijf met volle energie gewerkt aan het realiseren van onze plannen voor dit jaar, wat we uiteindelijk allemaal voor de klant doen en daarmee ook voor ons inmiddels 97 oude mooie bedrijf.
Vergeleken met vorig jaar verwelkomde KLM alleen al in de maand september 100.000 meer passagiers (+3,5%) aan boord. Op Europa was er een lichte groei in capaciteit (0.1%) en vervoer (2.0%) ten opzichte van vorig jaar. Samen met Transavia Nederland blijven we marktaandeel terugpakken op Europa. De nieuwe winterbestemmingen zullen hier weer verder aan bijdragen.
De Cargo business toont weliswaar een afname van een kleine 11% minder vervoer, een capaciteitsafname van bijna 8% en een daling van de loadfactor met bijna 2 punten. In absolute getallen vertoont het vervoer en de capaciteit een lichte stijging ten opzichte van augustus.
De vervoerscijfers van passage vertonen een continue stijging. De noodzakelijke veranderingen zullen moeten doorgaan, hoe lastig en moeilijk ook. Zonder dat kunnen en gaan we niet de marges halen die nodig zijn voor het creëren van een gezonde toekomst. Ik geloof er vast in dat we dat ook kunnen met elkaar. Op 3 november worden de derde kwartaalcijfers bekendgemaakt door Jean- Marc Janaillac.
