Cees 't Hart new member of KLM Supervisory board

Summary

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines today announces that its supervisory board has voted in favour of nominating Cees ‘t Hart to become a supervisory director.

The nomination will be put to the 2014 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in April next year.

Mr ‘t Hart will take up a position which is being vacated on the same date by Kees Storm. Mr Storm is leaving the board after completing the maximum term of 12 years.

Cees ‘t Hart (1958) has been Chief Executive Officer of the multinational FrieslandCampina since 2009. Before joining FrieslandCampina in 2008, Mr ‘t Hart held a range of international management positions at Unilever, including Vice President Foods Asia Pacific in Singapore, Chief Executive Officer Unilever Poland, and Chief Executive Officer Lever Fabergé Italy. He is chairman of the Dutch Dairy Association (NZO) and chairman of the Dutch government agency Topsector Agri&Food.
